We woke up to a beautiful day on Thursday morning and so decided that it was the perfect day to ascend Table Mountain. I may have
mentioned previously (to anyone and everyone who would listen) that Table Mountain is always my favourite part of any visit to Cape Town.
After a morning at the V&A Waterfront, five of us - furthermore known as the Awesome Five
TM - elected to climb the mountain via the Platteklip Gorge route. Once at the top, we enjoyed some cold bubbly beverages and a picnic. We watched a spectacular sunset and then headed to the other side of the mountain to watch the city lights come on below.
