Elephant Encounter Part II

On Tuesday morning we were all set to have some breakfast, check out of Bakubung and head for Sun City.  We were treated to the sight of an elephant coming in really close to the fence surrounding the lodge.  Not a bad way to start the day!  Especially since this was not the naughty boy, Rookie, of our first up close and personal elephant encounter.  Not surprisingly, the elephants' new best friend, Simone, was front and center.

After our visit with this very calm elephant we stopped to do a little souvenir shopping at a market on the side of the road, overflowing with African crafts.

Next stop, Sun City and The Valley of the Waves at the Lost City!
