Footwear of the Nations

In 1906 a collection of 10 souvenir postcards was released depicting the footwear of the nations.  The entire set could be purchased for 10 cents.

Design number 9 was of the (apparent lack of) footwear of South Africa.  What a long way the nation has come since then!

    I love design number 8 - Turkey. And apparently everyone smoked over there.
